Website Cookie Policy

last updateD: october 17, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Eolas Inc. (“Eolas,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website at eolas.co (the “Site”), and the choices you have. This Cookie Policy is published at eolas.co/trust/cookie. It supplements the Eolas Privacy Policy (eolas.co/trust/privacy), which describes how we handle personal information generally, and use of the Site is also subject to the Eolas Website Terms of Use (eolas.co/terms/website).

This policy covers the public website only. It does not apply to the Eolas platform or its web and mobile applications. The platform does not use cookies for advertising, and its use of local storage and similar technologies is limited to what is necessary to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember display preferences, keep the platform secure, and measure the platform’s performance and reliability.

1. What These Technologies Are

A cookie is a small text file placed in your browser that stores preferences and information about your visit. We and third parties acting on our behalf may also use pixel tags (also called web beacons), local storage, and server log files. In this policy we call all of these “cookies.” A pixel tag in a web page or an email lets us record, for example, that a page was viewed, a link was clicked, or a message was opened.

2. Categories We Use

Category What it does, and whether it is optional
Strictly necessary Enables core functions: page delivery, form submission, load balancing, fraud prevention, and detecting irregular site behavior. These cannot be switched off through our preference tool, because the Site does not function without them.
Performance and analytics Helps us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it - pages viewed, time on page, navigation paths, errors encountered. Optional.
Functionality Remembers choices you make, such as a region or a previously viewed item, so the Site behaves the way you expect on your next visit. Optional.
Advertising and measurement Used, where enabled, to deliver or measure marketing to business audiences and to understand which campaigns bring visitors to the Site. Optional.

3. Third Parties That Set Cookies Through the Site

Some cookies are set by providers acting on our behalf. Their own privacy notices govern their handling of the information they collect.

  • Google Analytics, for site analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on. We configure Google Analytics without advertising features; if that changes, the analytics category will be treated as “sharing” for the purposes described below.

  • LinkedIn, for campaign measurement and business audience marketing.

  • Social media features and embedded content, which may set a cookie and receive your IP address and the page you are viewing when the feature loads.

We update this list as our providers change. For a current list, or to ask which providers are active, contact us using Section 6.

4. Your Choices

Preference tool. Where our cookie banner or preference center is offered, you can accept or decline optional categories and change your choice at any time. Strictly necessary cookies remain active.

‍Browser and device controls. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, parts of the Site may not work as intended. Cookie-based choices are specific to each browser and device, so clearing cookies or switching browsers means setting your preferences again.

‍Global Privacy Control and other browser signals. Eolas honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal on the Site where your browser or extension transmits it, and treats it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, for which no common standard has been adopted.

‍A note on sale and sharing. Eolas does not sell personal information for money. Where the advertising and measurement category is enabled, the associated cookies may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or in some states a “sale,” as those terms are defined under state privacy laws. The preference tool, the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the website footer, and the Global Privacy Control signal each function as an opt-out of any such sale or sharing, and we honor them regardless of how a particular activity is characterized.

5. Changes

We may update this policy as our practices or providers change. The “Last Updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and prior versions are available on request.
